• I sat in my room, relishing in my joy at the new dream I stole. I watched in my mirror as the girl in it danced and danced, then finally collapsed. I laughed as she got up and began dancing again. She was a beautiful dancer I had to admit. Which made taking her dream so much more enjoyable. She will never be able to dance again. I doubt she will even be able to walk straight.

I took a sip of my wine. It made it even better that she was the love of the prince. I smiled, imagining the look on his face when he finds his love catatonic. Lost in the darkness. Humans always got lost in the darkness without their hopes and dreams to chase. I shivered with pleasure, just imagining the girl's despair. How heavy it must be. Her soul will surely crush under it's weight. My smile faded. If her soul was crushed, her dream would fade. I would lose it like i've lost countless others.

I took a sip of my wine. As much as i'd hate to admit it, I didn't want to lose this dream. It was too beautiful to lose. I set my wineglass down. At the same moment, the dancing girl collapsed. I grimaced, then smiled. Just because the dream would be lost one day didn't mean I still couldn't have my fun with it, right? I got up and covered the mirror with a thin black sheet. The light coming from it disappeared, leaving only the light of the moon to illuminate my beautiful dark room. Picking up my wine glass, I turned to the window and began making my plans.
