I’ve never really liked the way time works. There’s ether too much time, or not enough: you never have just how much you’d like. The same rule goes with almost everything else in life, but you never know exactly how much you really want of something ether, because once you don’t have it, you want more of it. That’s why I’m sitting in my room, by myself, wondering what to do; I have too much time. Life seems boring some times, but what would you do with out it? Nothing, that’s what. Because without it, you’re not you. Strange, isn’t it? The way things work some time, I mean.
Yet, life’s the same thing on earth, every time. You’re born; you grow, go to school, get a job, make a living, find love, have kids, get old, and die. Not always in that order, and take or give a few, but the same all together. Nothing new.
So, I just lay my head down, and try to sleep, hoping wholeheartedly, that tomorrow will be more exiting. But why get my hopes up? It’s never helped in the past. Not once has hoping affected my life. I don’t know if it has anyone else, but I guess you could believe it has, if the event you wanted happens. It all depends on how much you believe in good and bad luck. I believe in it just as much as I believe a man can land on the sun one day, which I don’t, because that will never happen.
I try to think about what the world would be like if all the things you read about in books and comics, like wizards, werewolves, vampires, aliens, and magic, actually existed. Wow. That thought’s long gone… ‘The melody of my life will never change’ was my last thought as I drifted to sleep that night.
