• CHAPTER 3

    All of the guests were transported to the reception Alice had organized. We hadn’t arrived yet because Alice thought we should enter a few minutes after everyone had arrived so we could do our first entrance as Mr. and Mrs. Cullen.

    Wow, it sounded so weird when I thought about it, it was just so unreal that I was now Isabella Cullen

    “What’s wrong love?” asked Edward looking at my expression instead of the highway

    “nothing, it’s just..it just feels so unreal actually being married to you, I mean, I’m not Isabella Swan anymore, I’m Isabella Cullen” I said

    “I know, I can’t believe you are Isabella Cullen either”

    He looked straight into my eyes with his beautiful golden eyes that were full of happiness and enthusiasm, I couldn’t help to smile

    “I love you” he whispered after a short comforting silence

    “I love you too” I smiled

    “So, are you ready for your wedding party?” he asked with a smile on his face

    “actually, I am, I guess if I want to be a real Cullen I have to be a big party fan, right?” I teased

    “No, I love you the way you are, you don’t have to change anything to be a Cullen” he responded

    “Well, just one thing”

    His expression changed, he knew what I was talking about. I didn’t have to change anything to be a Cullen, just one thing, my human status. In a few days time I would become one of them, strong, beautiful and immortal, I would become a vampire, a real Cullen

    “Let’s talk about that later” he said, I know he doesn’t like the idea of me becoming a vampire, but he had to accept that if he wanted to expend the rest of eternity with me, which was what he wanted “so, we are here, are you ready?” he asked

    I simply nodded, and took a deep breath

    “let’s go” he whispered and then, in less than a second he opened my door and took me, gently, out of the car.

    He held my had strongly, but gentle, without hurting me, as we entered the reception Alice made.

    The place was beautiful, it was big and all made in white marble, the lights were really shinny and in the entrance there were a few red roses petals on the floor. It was incredibly gorgeous

    “wow” I gasped

    “Do you like it?” I heard Alice’s voice behind me

    “It’s amazing Alice, I love it” I smiled

    “Thanks, I knew you would, wait until you see the rest”

    “Bella!” yelled Emmet entering the room, he was with the rest of the Cullen family

    “Emmet!” I yelled as well

    “congratulations sister, you look beautiful” he said giving me one of his bear hugs

    “Thanks”

    “Bro, congrats!” he hugged Edward

    “Congratulations Bella” said Jasper whom was standing behind Emmet

    “Thanks Jasper” I said smiling

    And then, he came closer and gave me a hug, it was kind of awkward, I could tell he was feeling a little uncomfortable. I was shocked, it was the first time he had ever touched me

    “Bella!” said Rosalie’s voice behind me

    I pulled away from Jasper and turned around to see Rosalie

    “You look beautiful, I’m really happy for you, you really deserve this” she said

    “Thank you Rosalie, you look beautiful too”

    Then, Carslile and Esme came a gave me a hug, they both congratulate me, like the rest of the Cullen family.

    After that, Edward came to hold my hand, followed by Alice, who was incredibly enthusiastic by the fact I was about to see what she had done with the main salon.

    As the door opened, I saw everyone sitting down on their chairs. The whole room was, as well as the main entrance, white marble. In the middle of the room was a huge wedding cake, with some pink and red roses petals on it, next to it was a microphone and a little table with two glasses of champagne for me and Edward, the lights were really shinny, on the right side of the room was a pile of presents organized in a tower and on the left was a band playing music.

    “Alice this is-“

    But before I could finish, the whole room was standing up clapping

    “Congratulations” yelled a couple of voices I didn’t recognized

    And then, I felt Edward’s body getting tense, his expression changed from happiness to anger

    “Not today” he whispered

    I knew what was going on. The only thing that was able to make Edward change that way, that made him so tense and angry, the only thing that annoyed him more than anything, but that made me happy.

    Jacob Black was here

    “Is Jake isn’t it?” I asked him

    He answered with one nod

    “where is he?” I asked

    “I can smell his scent coming from the main entrance, give me a second I’ll be right back”

    “No!, Edward I want to talk to him, I’ll be right back”

    “I’m going with you” he said

    “No, I have to talk to him alone, please, just let me talk to him” I almost begged him

    “Fine” he said after a few seconds “but if you don’t come back in 5 minutes, I’m going to get you”

    I nodded and walked towards the main entrance. As I exit the room, I saw both, Jasper and Emmet with an expression similar to Edward’s, both tense and angry

    I exit the room, leaving all the noise behind and meeting Jacob’s strong black eyes. He was, as usual, shirtless with only a pair of ripped jeans and for the first time, he had shoes on

    “Hi” I said

    “Hi” he responded “You look really pretty”

    “Thanks” I said “So what brings you here?”

    He stared to the floor and didn’t speak for a while

    “I just wanted to know if there was still a chance to stop you from doing this, from marrying that bloodsucker, but I came a little too late”

    “Jake I-“

    “Bella, this means you are going to be transformed into one of them right?” he interrupted me

    “Yes”

    “You know we cannot be friends anymore right?”

    “I know, but Jake-“

    “How can you do this?” he interrupted me, sounding really angry “After everything I have done for you, he left you, you know, he could do it again. I can’t believe you are going to turn into a monster for him, don’t you care how I feel?, do you have any idea of how it makes me feel you turning into a stupid bloodsucker?” his body was now shaking

    I tried to get closer to him, I wasn’t scared at all now, I wanted to calm him down

    The only thing I could think about while I was laying on the floor was that there were going to be some big problems now, as I saw Edward, Jasper and Emmet walking to the main entrance
