"How could they... die?" I sobbed as I ran my fingers over the message engraved in the wall. I paced back and forth in the hallways trying to figure out what my mother's note meant.
"Dearest Kyokii,
I am truely sorry about this. I honestly believed in myself. I love you dearly, you are my closest, so I am very sorry. I'll see you in the afterlife.
Love, mother (Raioka Shandolaa)"
I read aloud, trying desperately to figure what it meant. "Afterlife, death, dying... mother wants to see me when I get killed or commit suicide!" I finally figured it out.
I ran once again to my parents' room, rubbing the back of both my hands on my mother and father's faces. I looked at my mother. A 9mm pistol lay on her chest.
"Pick up the pistol." The voice in my head said. I just named the voice Maii. It's nickname is Shanoaii. "No, Maii." I argued with the voice in my head. "Do it!" Maii screamed. I reluctantly picked up the 9mm pistol and put it to my head. "Just pull the trigger and the pain will be gone," Maii said.
"Pull it and the game will end." Maii repeated. "Game?" I asked. "Yes Kyokii. Life is a game. Pull the trigger to end your life." Maii said. "Ok," I gulped and put my index finger to the trigger. "Pull it," Maii persuaded me. I closed my eyes and pulled the trigger.
