• In the early 20th century a bright young scientist with a beautiful wife who had lost their first baby in an unfortunate miscarriage, investigated the idea of creating an angel to give his wife the perfect child. He around with human and bird cells, working to join them together to create what he called an angel. His first successful experiment was created in 1986 he called his fellow scientists telling them that he wanted them to see his latest creation, the scientists believing it to be a flower or a machine they came to see Demitrius’s wonderful creation. believing they would buy into the project and help him create more of his angels he showed the creature to them with the same pounds and love as a new father. When he asked them for help creating a brother for his child they rejected the idea fiercely and told him that he was mad and was destroying the basis of. With his hopes destroyed he vowed never to let them forget what they had turned away from,
    he threw himself into his work. Spending long hours in his laboratory, trying to give his ‘child’ powers. He became a shadow of the man he was when he started the Angel project, his wife left him telling him that his madness had become unbearable for her.

    In the early 21st century a female archeologist found a badly burned and rotted leather folder dating back to the 20h century and took it for examination. What she found in the folder was diagrams and notes, heavily detailed experiments and recordings, the handwriting was so illegible due to depreciation and water damage that she dismissed the notes as anything readable and kept the folder as a moment of her time in France. Later in the same week of discovering the notes and diagrams she was found in her hotel room shot in the temple, nothing had been touched not prints or evidence was left at the scene, only one thing was recorded missing, an A4 sized leather folder badly damaged. The police dismissed her murder as unsolved.

    In 1948 a group of scientists were called together to a small island of the coast of America. The man that called the meeting had a simple request. For the experiments and diagrams in the folders they were given to be made possible. He said he did not mind how long it took as long as it was done, in return for the scientists disgression of course their families would be kept safe. None of them had any idea what they were doing. All they knew was that as soon as the experiments and notes were brought up to 20th century standards they would have everything they could possibly need for it to be done.

    In 1956 an unexplained island fire was reported to the worlds news teams. 14 bodies were found in a large under ground complex. Burned beyond recognition no-one knew what it was for. However a small fire proof room was discovered on investigation. When opened a young boy of about 7 years old was found cowering in the corner. The only words that a team of physiologists could get out of him was “father said he was coming back”. When the boy turned 14 he was taken to a secure location for studying as over the years he had grown a large pair of white wings. With these wings the boy could fly but that was not all. When he put his mind to it he could bend the elements.

    In 1963 a unexplained explosion was seen just outside New York in what was believed to be an empty rural area. Again an underground complex was found. However this time the only people that survived was a group of children. Two girls and one boy. All three about 7 years old. A large figure was seen flying towards the scene and a bright light burned blinding the camera crews and people from seeing what it was that landed. When the light was gone so where the children.

    In 1984 a group of scientists were approached by a 35 year old man who was desperate to be saved. upon examination it was found that he had large white wings that seemed to be protruding from where his shoulder blades would be. Unfortunately he died 1 year later. His last words being “ protect my children”. He gave the last scientist to see him alive a piece of paper which had on it all the names and addresses of his so called children. When found and brought to the scientist main laboratory all the children turned out have the same “affliction” as their ‘father’ had. They were detained for examination and testing. It was found that all of them had unexplainable powers and could fly.

    In 1986 one of the angles died unexpectedly. The scientists took the body from the room they were keeping them in and begun a series of experiments. From this ‘unfortunate’ death a new set of angels were created, 4 to be exact.

    In 1987 it was discovered that a group of scientists were doing horrid and unforgivable things to what the public were lead to believe as humans. They couldn’t be more wrong. The scientists were sentenced to life imprisonment. The angles were to be released and put into care. This did not go according to plan. On of the angels so disturbed at being wrenched from his laboratory environment went what the scientists had begun to refer to as ‘angel nova’ a sudden and catastrophic surge of power from the angels body with when released would cause an unprecedented explosion. As the angels all held this power within their bodies the only survivors were the ‘winged ones’ as the public fondly referred to them by.

    The angels believing themselves to be free disappeared and went into hiding, living in the mountains of France and moving on to Russia when they grew tired of the Alps. However it did not take long for them to be rediscovered. In 1997 it the angels realized that they were not aging and believed that they could live forever. It was in the same year that a group of hunters shot one of them with a tranquilizer believing from afar that the angel was nothing more than a very large bird that could fetch them alot of money. On discovery of their ‘unique’ anatomy the hunters shot the flock and handed them over, for a considerably large sum of money, to a group of scientists of the biological persuasion.

    It seemed the life of imprisonment in a cold, clean, metal science world was not over for the angels. Not by a long stretch.
