Name, please
All these names they pass by,
Stupid and geeky little small-fry.
So many names on this wall.
Where children were once small.
They once stood so frail, so slight
Moved into motion and out of sight.
They moved into the sky, into the earth
Until they reached the sun of their birth.
Standing into the silly shadows of man.
Where they became fishes in a can.
Where they fell into the inky black holes
Of the past and future doubts to be moles.
They stood above the towers glancing
At the flames that came prancing.
The flames that grew as they were born
Forever to rise and to never be torn.
But they tried to fight it but it stood
It stood to strong and burned the oak wood.
There they once stood by the wall.
Laughing and playing still small.
Then they changed and names came
Like water from a pipe and it wasn't tame.
They grew into beings with fire and might
But not one knew if they'd bring death or light.
