• I closed my eyes...

    I was in a dark room.
    Holding a blade, as I brought it closer to my skin, the blood in my ears pumped louder and louder, screaming at me to stop,I had no intention of doing so.
    Then I heard a voice, I dropped the blade and as it clattered to the floor, I turned, as if in slow motion, toward the sound. She was glowing. Her serene face smiled at me and her arms opened to me.
    I took a step towards her, the halo of light dimmed. I almost took another one, but didn't, because if I did she would dissapear more with every step i took until she was gone.
    "Kade?" she said asking me to come closer, not remembering what would happen if I did
    "I can't" I said looking at my feet
    Her loving face became troubled "I love you, Kade, but I have to go now."
    "Good-bye... Mom" I whispered

    I opened my eyes.
    The room lit up.
    My music blared again.
    My best friend/most annoying being in the world, Melody, was next me elbowing me in the ribs.
    I was awake in spanish.
