Prologue I
Light of heart
Dark of core
"Greza-katzu, what could this mean?" A woman with long flaxen hair that swept the ground approached an old man with gray hair and glasses. The woman's light blue eyes reflected clearly the icy tendrils of fear that gripped her heart. Her breathing was rapid, intensifying her anxiety. The old man looked up from a mess of paper and books that littered a table, his light blue eyes clearly showing exaustion from almost non-stop study.
"I can't be completely sure, Akina-ku," Greza said, his voice heavy from exuastion. He sighed a bone-weary sigh as he continued to talk to Akina. He hadn't slept in two weeks (over 18 days) since the mysterious prophecy had come to light.
Terrestrial pental and lunar natant
Incline to the land of origin
"I've been working for over two weeks, but I still can't figure much out," Greza said as he sighed again, then stood up and began pacing. "What I have been able to figure out has been vague as is always the case with these types of things. It still doesn't tell me anything. I'll work until I figure it out."
"Greza-katzu, it's all right. You haven't slept in over two weeks. You've done more than enough for me. Thank you." Akina bowed, then left the old man's home. She walked into the chilly spring night and pulled her cloak closer around her shoulders. As she walked, she looked up at the three moons, but her gaze was focused mainly on the golden one
The shadow of destruction erradicates all hope
If this is what I think it is, I'm in danger, Akina thought. Whatever happens, this will not end well. The golden moon shifted to rest beside a bright red star that was actually the planet of Dragonia. It then went to the waxing crescent phase. Akina studied the formation for a moment, then glared, her blue eyes like chips of ice in the moonlight. Thanks for the vote of confidence. She stormed back to the crystal palace where she made her home and ruled over her people.
Prologue II
"Gracia, please forgive me." A man with black hair and emerald eyes stood facing his wife. In his arms was a three month old baby girl with the same black hair. In Gracia's arms was an identical baby girl. "I have to leave to take care of some business. You said I could have Kaiya."
"Not to be raised like that, Enomi!" Gracia snapped, her blue eyes blazing. "I know how your kind treats half-bloods! I don't want my baby growing up like that!"
Anon the treachery the lumin,
Alone their souls fall to the dusk
"Kaiya will be well cared for, I promise," Enomi said, pleading with his wife. Gracia shook her head. She wasn't going to budge on the issue. Enomi sighed. Gracia didn't have to say anymore; he could tell what she wanted by reading her aura. "I'll put her up for adoption..." He had to give in to stay on what little bit of Gracia's good side she was showing him. He sighed again as he got walked into the cab.
Conjoined, their harmony shall save the ages

- Title: Twin Fairies: Prologues
- Artist: Lioa-Yue
- Description: This part is the two prologues of two companion books I'm writing called Twin Fairies: the Lunar Aria and the Astral Lyric. It's somewhat inspired by Twitches, but I hope it's not too similar. The prophecy is the randomly scattered peices that are centered and italitcised.
