JOJO'S STORY:
He’s a quiet, quiet soul
But far from under control
He’s the littlest Who, but the hero of the day
He lights up your face when you’re feeling grey
He’s a teenager with a plan
So let’s go back where this all began.
In the little town of Whoville, a place that I love
A little boy came from above
This little bundle of bundles indeed
Was always destine to succeed
This boy, Jojo
My boy, Jojo
Now this little boy, who will complete a great feat
His father’s goals he just couldn’t meet
His father rumbled and rambled and blabbered all day
Without really knowing he was in the way
Jojo didn’t want to be mayor, he didn’t want this as all
And even if he was very small
He would do great things, he knew this for sure
He would do great things, exiting and pure.
His father, very soon, had a little problem
His world was on a flower on top of a stem
And who was carrying this flower, why, Horton, of course
Horton the elephant was the only force
One small bump was a big bump down below
But don’t blame Horton, because he didn’t know
Now a mean, ol’ kangaroo, who didn’t know fun
Wanted the flower and the spec to be done
So trouble, and trouble, Horton was in
And soon, even more trouble would begin
That mean kanga, began to spread lies
And soon poor Horton was in a cage and ties!
What’s worse, the spec, the world of the Whos
Was about to be boiled in a big pot of stew
And no matter how much all of the made
Nothing seemed to work, but still, they prayed
This was the time, when Jojo’s father needed aid
So Jojo ran off to the invention he made
And with his father, watching close by his side
Jojo unleashed his invention with pride
The noise that came out was great and loud
It was sure to penetrate the cloud
So running as fast as the little Who could
Jojo went off to where the rest stood
But as loud as the loud that the loud maker made
As loud as the loud that the instruments played
As loud as the loud that all the Whos sang
“We are here, we are here!” The voices rang
But as loud as the loud that the Whos could make
The clouds in the air just wouldn’t break.
On top of the noises, his father said loud,
“Son, my Jojo, you make me quite proud.”
So Jojo, little Jojo, with a determined look
Went all the way up to the roof’s little hook
And then as loud as he could, the Who cried:
“Yop!”
And the mean kanga’s baby didn’t let them drop
For that little voice of that little Who
Had helped all the Who’s voice break through
“I hear it! I hear it!” the baby kanga cried with glee
And all the other animals had to agree
The voices of the who’s finally were heard
And the unity of two dimensions on that day occurred
Now we all know, from Horton’s words alone
And, for centuries, these words would be known:
“Even though you can’t see them or hear them at all
A person’s a person, no matter how small”
And the smallest, tiniest Who of them all
Managed to save them, and seemed ten feet tall.

- No, it's not a poem. Have you ever read Dr. Suess: He writes books, not poems. It's in freaking children's book format, okay?
