The cold, lifeless picture frame was nothing more than that to me at first, lifeless. It was a picture of a child. An innocent, carefree child dancing in awesome splendor down the street, holding her mothers gentle hand. A child who could look at every person on the street she walked upon and see nothing but greatness even among the homelss. Her pretty blond curls were bouncing as she twirled and giggled down the pavement and her mother just smiled. She was dressed as a ballerina, thrilled to be attending her recital. People passed and none looked at the little girl.
"That is me know." I said to myself "I never stop to look around at things that I see."
I studied the picture frame some more and I knew I had to become that little girl again.
