• One cool and sunny day Seto Kaiba, a boy with short brown hair and brown eyes, dressed in a long white jacket, and black pants and a white shirt; is with his girlfriend Rin who has long blonde hair, a yellow eye and a green eye, is dressed in black pants and a white tank top; are on their way to school and Seto Kaiba is talking about taking her to the school Christmas party. Rin likes the idea of that and hopes that he will take her.
    When they arrive at school Ryugi Otogi a boy around their age sees Rin with Seto Kaiba. Rin catches his eye, so he follows her to class and realizes that his first period class is with her. Ryugi Otogi enters the class and sits next to her.
    Rin is digging through her backpack looking for her extra credit paper she did. She finds it then grabs her pencil and reads over it then gets up and puts the paper on the teacher’s desk. When she sits back down Ryugi introduces himself to her and she introduces herself to him then begins writing things down that are up on the blackboard. Ryugi Otogi says, “You are very pretty.”
    “Thanks,” she says looking at him with her mismatched eyes. Ryugi Otogi begins flirting with her making her giggle.
    When lunch time rolls around Ryugi Otogi buys a bouquet and walks around to find Rin. When he finds her he walks to her to give her the bouquet. Rin accepts it blushing slightly. Ryugi Otogi sits next to her reaching into his jacket and pulling out a flyer about the winter Christmas party and asks if she is going. “Well,--”
    “She is going with me.” says Seto Kaiba watching him making sure he won’t get any closer to Rin.
    “Oh… ok,” says Ryugi a little sad.
    “If you want we could go as a group.” suggests Rin noticing Ryugi’s downheartedness.
    “Really?” asks Ryugi looking a little happier.
    “No,” says Seto Kaiba curtly making Ryugi look sad again.
    “Oh, Seto knock it off,” says Rin taking his juice box off his plate and sipping it. An annoyed expression crosses Seto’s face as Ryugi and Rin begin talking about the dance.

    When Seto gets home he throws his backpack on the floor in his room and sits on his bed angry with Ryugi for disturbing his relationship with Rin. Seto thinks for a little bit then picks up his phone and calls Rin only to get a busy signal. Seto really angry now hangs up and stares at the floor for a second feeling his anger bubble up inside until it over flows causing him to punch the wall. Seto sees the gaping hole in the wall he just created. Suddenly the phone rings. Seto picks it up and hears Rin’s voice.
    “Hey, Seto can I come over?” she asks hoping to get his input about a few things.
    “No! Why not get Ryugi Otogi to come over to your house!?” yells Seto clearly upset.
    “Seto? Is something wrong?” asks Rin confused about why he seems upset.
    “Yes. While you were asked out to the dance by Ryugi Otogi you just sat there about to say yes!” says Seto sounding a little hurt.
    “Hang on a second Seto! I wasn’t going to say yes. I was about to say I was going with you!”
    “Maybe we should speak face to face. You can come over.” says Seto knowing that Rin will come over.
    Once Rin is at his house, he takes her to the guest room and she asks why he isn’t taking her to his room.
    “So my little brother won’t bother us.” he responds opening the door to the guest room and letting Rin enter before him. Rin sits on the bed as Seto closes the door and pulls up a chair so he can talk to her.
    “Rin, you know how much I love you. I fear that you‘ll break up with me to go steady with someone else. This thought scares me.” says Seto clearly showing hurt in his voice.
    “Seto, I would never do that.” Rin says placing her hand on his cheek.
    “I know…:” sighs Seto taking her hand from his cheek and kissing it. Then inches his face close to hers and closes the gap between them and says, “I’m happy now.” hen kisses her.
