• Door to Fairyland

Once upon a time, there was a magical land that was for fairies only. Hundreds of fairies lived here. They were very kind, but had never met a human before. They were just waiting for years for one little kid to find the mysterious door, and step into there land.
Then one day, Kailey was walking in a dark forest not far from behind her house. Then, all of a sudden, a door appeared out of nowhere right in front of her. She was at first very stunned. After a moment of calming down and coming to her senses, she slowly reached for the dark brown wooden knob. She turned it slowly…
Kailey peeked in with wonder of what could be revealed if she went inside. When Kailey saw her first glimpse of it, she was already blown out of her mind at what she saw. It was the most beautiful, amazing place she had ever seen. She could not believe what her eyes were seeing.
There was a huge rainbow that stretched for miles to come. Kailey tried to climb up it to see everything from the top, but every time she slipped all the way back down to the ground. Also, many trees covered the land. Kailey sniffed the air that smelled like a variety of candy. There was singing birds of all kinds in the trees. The rivers were filled with gold, and the sky rained chocolate. Kailey jumped around and twirled looking up with her mouth wide open, letting chocolate raindrops drip in her mouth. Then, The Fairy Queen, Trisha, walked by herself having some alone thinking time to ponder about what she was going to say in her next fairy meeting. Kailey was the one that spotted Trisha first. Kailey was so amazed, and got behind a sparkling bush. She stumbled on a rock while trying to stand back up, making a faint thumping sound. Trisha turned around, and Kailey ducked as quick as she could, but she was too late.
“Um… Hello? Who are you? What are you?” Trisha whispered. Kailey gradually stood back up. Kailey said uncertainly, “I’m a human, and my name is Kailey. I don’t really know how I got here… A door popped up, and I opened it to see what was inside. Then, I ended up here.” Trisha was astonished, and screamed to the rest of her fairy tribe. They all quickly came forward, and one of them started to ask Trisha why she had called them all to attendance, but promptly noticed why. All the fairies started asking questions like how did she get here, who is she, what is she, is she a human, what’s her name, and is she harmful? Trisha rapidly shut up everyone. She then said, “This is Kailey. Yes, she is a human, and she found our door. We would all like to welcome her kindly to our land.” All the fairies said in unison, “Welcome to our Fairyland where all your magical dreams will come true!” “Come with me!!! We want to give you the grand tour for being our first visitor in millions of years, and our first human ever!” The Fairy Queen shouted.
Trisha showed Kailey the whole land, all the way from the gold rivers to the end of the rainbow. They let Kailey take some of the gold out of the river into a bottle, and a few golden coins out of the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. She was very excited about this. They threw her a thrilling party. They took turns flying her around in the glittering blue sky. After all the fun and excitement, the party had little by little come to an end. No one wanted to stop this radical party, but nothing can last forever. Trisha said to Kailey, “It was so much fun having you here. Please come back next time, but with a friend. We love more company and friends! But before you go, we would like to give you one of our fairies as a gift. Whenever you want something, all you have to do is ask your fairy, and you will instantly have it. Whatever you like.” Kailey was so astounded by the gift as she group-hugged all the fairies. “Thank you so much!!! This has been the best day of my life! I can’t wait to come back. But for now, bye!” Without a minute to spare, Kailey walked out with her magical fairy flying right behind her!
