I squeezed his hand as a tear trickled down my cheek. He gave me a weak smile, mouthed the three words that could break a heart for all eternity, and then faded away as death claimed his soul. Cold. Pale. Lifeless. Everything I thought opposite of him. I cried even harder when I knew the end had come. When I figured out I would see no more of him except in pictures and old memories. When I knew, I would never see the sparkle in his eye when the light hit his face just right. Or his beautiful white teeth when he smiled. I would never again feel his arms around me, holding me tight against him when the world protested against it. I would never again feel the sparks behind our everlasting kiss. He was gone.
My mom frowned, but I could see the evil behind it. She wanted him dead, so I could marry the one she thought right for me. She opened her arms but I pushed her out of the way, stomping out of the cancer section in the hospital.
She would never know the love i felt toward him. The way my heart reacted everytime he just glanced at me.
Now i was out of time to prove it. Out of time;out of love.
