His blue eyes shimmer and his body shivers
As he sees his friends in harmony
Laughing, loving, living
In a blink of an eye, it disappears
Into a sea of nothingness and turmoil
And the vast plains of hatred
The birth of tragedy is redeemed
The story begins
He enters the vast sea of teens
He's alone. No friends, no contacts. Nothing.
Silence. Except the chatter of squabbling strangers.
But he walks with energy and happy go lucky.
And destiny twines him into a boy.
Introductions are given but chatting follows
The two make a connection.
And thus best friends are twined by a line of friendship.
The few months ensue and the friend becomes an idol.
Athleticism. Popularity. Personality. Originality. Likability.
The friend.
A girl, joins the mystery of the boy.
Her sweet gaze follows him. Her penetrating persona.
She's stolen his heart.
And to her, likewise. They soon swim in a sea of delight.
The other caressing their never ending connection.
The lover.
Another girl. Her eyes have hunger
Her body wanting more turmoil.
Conceited. Hyper. Devil.
The boy says nothing, and they make a secret friendship.
He says nothing. His heart can't handle the mass energy of hate.
The enemy.
The friend. The lover. The enemy.
The weeks go on.
Fun with the friend.
Love with the lover.
Secret hate for the enemy.
They handle each other.
The enemy erupts in the clear blue.
She hates the friend.
Accuses him of sins.
Accuses him of hate.
Accuses him of negativity.
Accuses him of the worse.
The boy says nothing.
The enemy hates the lover.
Calls her the devil.
Calls her the worse.
Tells her to die.
He says nothing.
Deceit. Manipulation.
It has not broken the enemy.
Still, the boy has kept her close.
To finally destroy her.
Soon.
The weeks ensue and the school year is almost over.
Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.
The night is long for the boy.
He has controlled his anger. But insists on innocence.
A call enters the desolate, cold room of his.
The lover's mother.
The voice so frantic.
The voice so worried.
The voice so solemn.
The voice so dark.
The lover is said to be gone.
Said to be writhing on the cold pavement.
Blood spewing from the depths of her stomach.
Said to be breaking bones.
Said to be leaving.
Said to be dying.
The last words of his name escaped her lips.
As her last breathe flew into the cold night air.
The lover exits.
The next day comes.
Out in the dusk. Night is coming.
The dark is searching
The trees are whispering
The friend is solemn.
The enemy rejoices descreetly.
The sight of the enemy.
The boy is enraged.
The boy knows her happiness.
Her joy.
Her cruelty.
He's lost his lover.
Half himself he's lost.
He cannot take it.
A loud smack lets rip.
The friend stands in front of the enemy.
Her head turned to the side.
Blood dripping from her mouth.
Her dreadful.
Evil.
Deceitful.
Disgusting.
Hated.
Loathed.
Terrible.
Horrible.
Mouth dripped with blood and the boy's joy swept over.
The enemy yells.
Shouts.
Curses.
Her voice, the sound of the essence of evil.
How the boy hated her.
How much he wanted to speak out.
How he blamed her for his lovers death.
But he said nothing.
The friend yells back. Saying every word he wanted to speak.
How he savored every word his friend said.
How he enjoyed it.
How he loved it.
How he wanted them to strangle the enemy.
And decapitate her.
How he wanted the enemy dead.
A scream lets out.
The friend falls to the ground.
The enemy has a knife.
The warm blood dripped.
His moaning so depressing.
Her breathing so heavy. So lifelike.
So.
Happy.
The boy found her hunger.
It was the turmoil of others.
The chaos of life.
The evilness of everything.
The boy leapt to his friend.
The enemy drops the knife.
Drops the weapon. Weeps and falls to the ground.
All an act.
The boy professes his idolism of his friend.
Comforts him. Holds his pale, cold hands.
The friend's blood smears both boys.
He whispers, coughs blood.
He smiles that smile.
He pats the boy's shoulder.
His tears pour out. His eyes turn red.
His sadness sweeps over as the boy's own eyes waterfall.
The tears drip on his wound.
Hoping they heal. They don't.
The friend makes a final gesture.
Thumbs up.
Smiles.
The friend exits.
How the boy loathed the enemy.
Hoping to take the knife himself.
Hoping to stick it to her forehead.
Through her abdomen.
Through her heart.
Her stone cold heart.
He wept loudly as his two closest beings withered.
And his anger towards the enemy.
The boy rips loose.
He cares nothing of his innocence.
He says everything.
He confesses his hate.
His loathing.
His thoughts of her death.
Blamed her for everything.
Told her to bring them back.
Shouted at her.
With loathing.
With hate.
With contempt.
With hope of her death.
The night air touches the two.
But the boy sweats. The body of his friend behind.
The body of the enemy in front of him.
With her with a wide grin
Smirking.
Laughing.
Smiling.
Happy.
He takes the knife.
Holds it over the enemy.
And the look on the enemy changes.
Drastically. Her eyes bug out.
Her hands shake. Her eyes water.
Her mouth moves, but doesn't make a sound.
Her pathetic pleas of mercy don't penetrate him.
He raises it high and looks at her cold eyes.
He imagines her heart, ripping. Her eyes tearing.
Her self dying.
He drops the knife.
The sirens wail and the enemy is taken.
The boy is taken home.
The boy weeps.
It is known the enemy was murdered.
Taken away to a juvenile facility. Only to start more pain.
But to find the ending worse.
The price of her life.
The enemy exits.
The funerals were hurting the boy.
Was affecting him.
Made him tired.
Made him weary.
Made him dissatisfied.
Made him question his life.
Made him solemn.
But as the funerals came.
He did not cry. He did not move. He sat.
Staring coldly.
His body still.
His picture of harmony shattered by the lives of three.
Peace has flown away into the sea of destruction.
Peace has not made it back, and may never come.
The boy continued his life.
Found a wife, but not a lover.
Found a man, but not a friend.
Found a jerk, but not an enemy.
Those were reserved.
He affected the world eventually.
To the lover he thought of every day.
He architected a town of great beauty for her.
Thriving. Living. Loving.
To the friend, he made a building.
Of memory for him.
With the friends love and interests contained.
In the huge building of greatness.
As for the enemy.
He took the old knife he kept for this moment.
He stuck it into the earth, right besides her grave.
Hoping to never find it. For anyone to never find it.
To never use it. And to bury the old memories.
As his age came.
His children asked of his greatness.
He told them the story of the three.
The lover.
The friend.
The enemy.
His blue eyes dull and his body trembles
As he remembers his friends in harmony
Laughing, loving, living
In a blink of an eye, it disappeared
Into a sea of nothingness and turmoil
And the vast plains of hatred
And the death of tragedy buried forever.
