Long, long ago in a time long forgotton on earth, when elf’s and wizards still roamed, a time called the magic age. There lived a young elf boy named Atwill...
His life was a good one, his father was an advisor to a grand master wizard named Gevibon, and his father him self was a great wizard. His father taught him the ways of magic. He taught him that there are many types of magic, there is black and white for all ways of magic. There is hand and mind magic. Then there are spells, which are the weakest of the three, his father told him. Atwill was happy were his life stud, though he was not ready for what lied ahead!
Atwill and his father lived in a small cottage about a two-day hike from any other cottages or small villages. His father told him it was safer that way, his father said that it was easier to teach him the ways of magic that way. Atwill was sitting outside of the cottage on a small stone when his father showed up. Atwill’s father left home once a month to go and meat with Gevibon, he would return abruptly five days after he left. His father and always sat down and talked as soon as he returned.
“Atwill how have your studies gone wile I was gone.” “Fine father, I have gotten moving objects down with my hand, but I can’t do it with my mind.” “Atwill my boy, only in time will you perfect the mind. Now what about the spells I left for you to try.” “Oh yes the fire and rain spells, I got those, they were easy. When are you going to teach me more about the mind.” “ Atwill you are still far too young for the magic of the mind. You know that you have to perfect the spells and the hand first.”
His fathers words were harsh but true. Atwill knew that he was still too young, but he hopped his father would still teach him. “Atwill its time we get off to bed.” “Alright father I’ll see on the new day.”
One-month later Atwill’s father was ready to set off again to meat with Gevibon. His father left him a list of spells to try and some more lessons for the hand as he always did; he also left some mediation techniques for the mind to try. Atwill and his father sat and talk for about two or three minutes before he left.
“Atwill while I’m gone this time I left some mediation techniques that are at the top of your list, OK?" “I understand father.” “Good than I am off I will see you in five days.”
Atwill’s father had been gone about a day and half when; a messenger arrived at the cottage calling for Atwill. He came out of the cottage wondering what was going on. The messenger, almost passing out from running called out one more time for Atwill. Atwill helped the man up and let him catch his breath. The man started at Atwill, “your…your father has been seriously ingered you must come now!” Atwill started to run into the cottage he grabbed some things of his, he grabbed his notes, cloths, bred, water and his cloak. “Lets be off, quickly now Atwill quickly!”
As Atwill and the messenger were running through the forest, they ran into a young stranger. The young stranger started talking to them trying to slow them down. For what reason they did not know all they knew was that this stranger was slowing them down. Atwill trying to get this stranger to leave them along felled. Then out of nowhere the stranger tripped Atwill, he got up in a rage the young stranger revealed himself he was a young servant of Gevibon’s, a wizard in training. Before the young wizard could do anything, Atwill in more of a rage now, knowing whom the stranger was started to glow in a dark blue then unexpectedly tossed him aside like a pile of twigs. After it was over, Atwill dropped to his knees and almost passing out. The messenger helped Atwill up and asked him, “how did you do that you didn’t even touch him?” Atwill tiredly replied “I have no idea.” Then it hit him like a ton of bricks, he
used his mind. All the other times he tried to use his mind to do things he was missing one thing, he was always relaxed and he was focused but he did not want it enough. The messenger told Atwill that they were almost there. Something was still nagging at him at the back of his mind, why did the young man try to slow them down?
They finally made it into the town that Atwill’s father was being held in. The messenger pointed out the cottage that he was in, Atwill ran into it. His father was not doing well at all; he had been burned very badly. The burn was on his chest and, it was covered in herbs that a young lady had placed on it. The young lady was pretty but not to smart, Atwill thought. Atwill knew that it was not a normal burn, it was inflicted by only one thing, a ball of fire cased by a wizard. He did not say anything to anyone yet. He didn’t want anyone to know what he thought until he was positive.
The next day Atwill told the young lady there that he would be back in an hour or so. Atwill went home that day to meditate and look up a magic trick that he learned on his own. He had left some of his notes there in the excitement. About two hours later he showed back up at the small town. He told the young lady to come inside the cottage that his father was in. Atwill told her what he was and what he thought the burn was. Then he told her to sit down. Atwill put his hands over his fathers chest and closed his eyes, a small amount of blue light started to come from under his hands. He stayed like that for about two minutes. Then unexpectedly his father started to wake up. Atwill puled his hands away slowly and the opened his eyes. He was so glad to see his father awake. His father tried to sit up, but couldn’t all he did was grown. Atwill’s father was week and could not be moved for at lest a week or so. After that, Atwill was almost lifeless himself. The trick took a lot out of him. He had tried it on a small dear with a large gash in his side about a year ago. The animal was smaller and it didn’t take so much out of his at the time. The young lady had Atwill put in a bed next to his father. It was about a week before Atwill awoke to see the world again....At the time he woke, He saw a castle, right in front of him. His father the awoke. A king came by holding a crown and said "Atwill, by the hands of mine, I declare that from now on, you will be known as King Atwill, the ruler of this world and the no.1 Magician of all ages!". "Maybe I'm dreaming.." Atwill whispered to himself. "No! Look Atwill, I can feel you, I can feel the crown! This is real!" said his father. " I can't.... Believe it. Yes, your majesty! I will accept this offer of yours! I will do my best to rule this world and help the people with the help of magic!" cried Atwill "Aah! That's what I like!Come and I will introduce you to the world!"
Atwill had been a great king. All the people trusted and praised him. But one day, his father died, he saw him lying on the floor, opened eyes. A few days later after Atwill's father's Goodbye day (the day of Burrying), Atwill, the king, was gone like wind. Some said that he commited SUICIDE but some said that he was kidnapped. Until now, no one still knew what really happened to King Atwill. Five years later, the kingdom really went down beacause they had no king but one day, a peasant found King Atwill as a ghost! "King Atwill!! Is that you!?" said the peasant. "Why, Yes. I am here to return the world to its rightful position. A happy, pleasant world." King Atwill the ghost said.
He ruled his kingdom even if he was as ghost. Everyone still loved him and the world, our home, turned back to normal using his very powerful magic. That is why we, people should not dirty our world because it is a gift. A very MAGICAL GIFT. heart
