• tab It was dark outside, where the scent of battle still lingered in the air. It was not dark enough, however, to hide the lifeless bodies of the Stone's guards. What was left of the guards' blood was slowly seeping out of them.
    tab Beyond this scene of battle, another fight was about to begin. I glint of confidence in the intruder's eye told the demon not to hold back. In seconds, the fight began.
    tab "Out of my way" roared the intruder! As quickly as it had begun, the fight was over. The demon lay on the ground as life began to escape it.As the demon drifted between life and death, it wondered how. How had it been defeated by a mere human? How would the Stone of Fire be safe now? How had it ever become the stone's guardian?
    tab In it's last moments of consciousness, the demon saw a dark figure dart away from the shrine, holding something. Not only that, but the figure was saying something with glee. Something that sounded like, "The first stone is finally mine!"
