- Description: Hiked off the trail to the top of a huge hill, but had a hard time getting back down, which lead us to a sheer drop off a cliff over hanging a small creek. Heading down from the cliff we spotted this cave and thought there was a bear inside, came back a week later with flashlights flares and a gun. Shined the light inside, saw some droppings on the cave's floor, which led to a furry tail. I screamed "Its a ******** skunk!" both of us bolting away. But it was asleep.
