- It is hard to photograph people and make it artistically pleasing. I feel like the little bush in the corner is much more interesting than looking at the person. Perhaps if you made the angle and positioning of the girl on the picture something more creative than just in the middle or off to the side, it would lead my eyes to her more. I'm only guessing that the girl is the focal point because of your description.
