A little guinea pig, also called cuy that we saw in a hutch in the city of Arequipa, Peru. In Peru, guinea pig is a delicacy, so this little guy was in a kind of pick your own steak place. But I love this photo because he looks like he's looking at you pleading not to pick him.
Of course I couldn't handle eating guinea pig, so I didn't try any while I was in Peru. I've heard that it tastes like chicken though - Date: 07/15/2008
