- Good start. =) In the future, keep in mind that lily pads and lotuses (not certain which this is) send up different stalks for the leaves and flowers, so the flower would not be on top the pad unless it was picked. Worry less on defining the borders of the petals, too, so you can focus on shading them in a more 3-D manner.
