- hehe we all start somewhere! keep an eye out for proportions first, then lay down the the color changes within the picture you are creating. after that is all done lay down your value changes THEN focus on the detail. with the lines in the hand and the dark black you chosen everywhere else i thought you may have been moving too fast. i apologize if my assumption is wrong.
