it's really nice, and i understand about the backgrounds
i recommend you work on the hair a little, it just seems too blocky
and practicing some shading would be good too.
Like the person below said, the arms are at different lengths so you might wanna work on that.

- I suck at backgrounds too, it just takes some practise. One thing is that her arms are different lengths, to avoid that, try to make the length of the elbows come down to around the waist. That's one of the only things I see wrong with this, other-wise it's beautiful. smile Keep up the great work~.
