Description:
This is a drawing I drew of my friend's RP character. [I edited the pic alot 'cause the ref. pic is too detailed] Yes, I know i messed up on the hand and it looks like he's kinda stabbing himself with the sword... but he's really not. Side notes: I didn't feel like drawing the eye because it usually ruins my pictures. Also, I haven't had time to shade the pic. I know it's not that great of a pic, but i tried; please comment and rate ;]

It's pretty good. Dun worry too much on getting it completely accurate to the reference, as you want to indent your own personal style into it. To make it look more realistic with the sword, lower it, so it's actually touching his back/shoulders, and if you need to rotate it so it's pointing more upwards to show the pressure of his arming leaning on it. To also help with this, when he's gripping the sword, put the thumb behind the handle, so it looks more like he's holding it.
