- Title: Creeper in the Bushes
- Artist: Princess Epilepsy
- Description: This painting is inspired by a nightmare I had as a child. This creep would chase me around. Hopefully I've intinced some sort of fear in you... the materials I used were acrylic paints (because oil take forever to dry), acrylic medium, and hot wax that has been painted over for the branches and leaves. I also screwed a makeshift window frame to make it seem that he was looking in through the window.

Little tip: mix acrylics and oils. They work beautifully together (may have to still use paint thinner) and they dry faster, plus you can get some decent texture out of them.
I like what you did with the candlewax, that is SO interesting. The image is beautiful, reminds me of a South American demigod I read about once. What a creepy fella to have chase you, good grief, count me out. REALLY well-done. Great work! - Report As Spam
