- I don't think it's a matter of forceing yourself, but more of practice and wanting to continue. As you go along you will get better, and if you wish u could return to this piece if you like. Personally i like that this picture goes from dark to light, it feels that she is sort of disapearing, which i think goes with the tone of the picture. You could also use different types of pecils for a darker effect 6B is pretty dark. Its always good to experiment with different materials.

The mosy helpful advice was ever given by an artist was to keep working on a piece until it is DONE. Even if you don't feel like it, otherwise you will NEVER train yourself to draw the way you want to.
You should draw for atleast an hour every day, 2 hours would be best. ^_^ - Report As Spam
