- when you do more detailed art, use more of a variety of colors on everything, and shade some more. that would also count for color variety. and it's still in the sketch stage. after this, you need to bring up a new layer, put on a final outline of everything, and then erase the sketch marks in the other layer. if you're using layers. if not, then just draw over it, and then get a really small eraser and erase them that way.
