- The cross was meant for symbolism. Nothing more than that. I wasn't suggesting that America was for Christians only. Just that it was based on Christian beliefs. If you don't see it that way maybe you should do some research. Just because you follow Christian principals it doesn't mean you are a Christian. Americans have turned so much of what the forefathers have done upside down to mean something that they never intended. Such as the separation of Church and State.

- The cross on the flag is not a "basic" our founding fathers would have wanted. They stressed the fact of "Freedom of Religion", not "Americans = Christians only".
