constructive advice .. okies
here we go - one simple word "observe" the irl things ^ ^. Stare at them. I mean seriously stare at things and imagine them to be a picture. like a photograph! ; which has a plane surface but hey it has everything looking so real. How? Look at the part where the color changes ("shades and shadows" very important to give it a real look) x3
or just a darker color at the near the lines ; that would help too =3
