This is a painting my mom and I did, if you're wondering how that works out, we split the work. My mom's a much better painter than I am though. This painting was inspired by the painter Bob Ross. =] We used to have a book on how to paint landscapes and such, it was by Bob Ross, and that was how we got the picture idea. Prior to that, my mom's been painting for years.
Painted with oil paints on a canvas.

it's really beautiful, i've tried to do scenery and it was terrible! so this is amazing!!!! i personally think this is better than anime (and i do love anime), it takes alot more time to do something like this than most of what others have drawn or will draw/ paint, whatever. plus the fact that it is realistic which can be extremely hard to accomplish.
