To help get the anatomy balanced, I would recommend starting by sketching out the basic form as a block figure--a "skeleton" if you will--and then adding on the clothes, hair, muscles, etc. That usually helps me.

- Cool designs! You do a nice job on the details, and the shading is nice. But I think the perspective is a little off--Colin doesn't look like he's standing on the same plane as Jared, and he seems to be leaning to the left. Jared's hips look a little off center. Also, they're proportioned like kids (in terms of the head-to-body size ratio) but their muscles seem too well developed for them to be that young.
