I don't blame the voter for the state of affairs. But, the people can't blame the government if they don't vote to change that government. I hope all those eligible to vote do. The years ahead will be hard on our economy and on our morale, regardless of who is elected. We have damned ourselves to making this transition at the last, most desperate moment possible. The amount of involvement henceforth will determine whether we're out for the season, or paralyzed from the waist down. Please vote.

- I like your concept and execution, but as a die-hard cynic, my opinion is that we're screwed no matter who votes for what. The only thing that will "fix" the government is wiping the slate clean, or wiping enough of it clean that the few politicians who remain in office are scared straight and actually start doing the jobs they were elected to do. I think it's at the point now where the damage to our current establishment is irreversible and somehow or another, it will wind up collapsing.
